If you are interested in teaching a children's class, please contact our Children's Activities coordinator, THL Sofia Tyzes. She can be reached via email at: karoline@karolinekramer.com or via telephone at: 330.688.1640  

Children aged 5 or under must be accompanied by a parent while taking classes. Children aged 9 or under must be signed in and out of classes by a parent.

These are activities and learning experiences especially developed for SCA children. Our Children's Classes are not a babysitting service.

Sewing for Youth

Make your own "patternless" T-Tunic. This 2 hour class will take the student from beginning to end in constructing a basic T-Tunic. Hands on experience, will include selecting material, measurement, layout, cutting, sewing machine fundamentals, and construction of a basic T-Tunic.

Age limit: Academic level of 2/3rd grade to teen. Suitable for new sewers.

Participants are requested to bring sewing scissors, pencils, tape measures. Misc. material will be provided.

All About Heraldry

The students will learn the basics of heraldry. Students will then make their own “devices” on shields.

Juggling with
John of Southkeep

Students will learn how to juggle and watch a great juggler perform. Practice balls provided.

Mock Equestrian

Join us at the Mock Equestrian field as the children have a chance to run the course with the “horses”.

Finger Weaving

The students will learn the basics of finger weaving, and will be able to continue after the class is over. Yarn will be provided.
