10:00 am -List opens for inspections, warm-ups, authorizations and pick ups.
11:00 am – Novice Tournament. Open to all who have been authorized for 3 years or less.
Tourney type will be based on the number of participants.
11:30 am – A Cut and Thrust Tournament will be held if there is enough interest.
Noon – Break for lunch. List will be open for pick ups and authorizations
The afternoon schedule will be determined by Their Excellencies Rapier Champions Tournament

Entry to the List will be by means of the following:

Combatant MUST present a Consort/Inspiration to be seated in the Gallery,

Combatant may present a non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food pantry. Each item will give the combatant 1 extra”life” in the Brawl with a maximum of 3 extra “lives”.
Flamboyant & foppish behavior and other pageantry are encouraged.
A procession in Masquerade will precede the Brawl.
Bring your own masks or use one provided by the marshals.
Combatants may bring any weapons to the List so long as the following are not violated:

Weapons must be acceptable to the marshals, Their Majesties, and the Baron/Baroness.

No more than three weapons or parry devices may be brought to the List:

Only one of which may be a cloak (may be worn upon entry into the Tavern),
-
Only one of which may be a hat (may be worn upon entry into the Tavern),
-
Only one of which may be a walking stick (must be carried),
-
Only one of which may be a buckler (must be carried and not worn on a swash).

Bucklers may be no larger than 18” diameter or 18” square.
-
Bladed weapons may be no longer than 24”
The List is closed once all combatants have entered and all Consorts/Inspirations are seated in the Gallery.
Their Majesties and the Baron/Baroness may direct the Herald to make whatever announcements or
proclamations, at Their discretion.
Upon the “lay on” given by the marshals, the Masquerade Brawl will continue until there is a single
combatant remaining. Combat may be engaged in any manner following standard SCA melee
conventions. Combatants are free to make and break alliances at any time. All telling blows shall be
accepted, and wounds shall be retained. “Dead” combatants will retire from the List. All holds shall be general but kept to a minimum by the marshals.
The Victor shall be the last combatant remaining. There will be a prize for the Victor.
The Most Entertaining Death (or Kill) shall be chosen from among the combatants by the
Gallery.
Combatants and Consorts are encouraged to exchange gifts and salutes between one another in
friendship and recognition of conspicuous acts of valor or gallantry.
PUMPKIN OF DOOM! (If Time Allows)
A random, pull from the PUMPKIN OF DOOM will determine your fight condition.
